Notice Regarding COVID-19

Clients, staff, and professional contacts are a top priority at Sandra Spencer CPA. We are taking appropriate precautions and have implemented a plan for continuing operations within the guidelines provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local officials.

Client Meetings

Our firm regularly interacts with clients electronically and has the capabilities to perform necessary tax preparation services without direct client face to face meetings. Accordingly, we are postponing all client in person interactions for the near future. We will work to complete your return and communicate any concerns or need for additional materials electronically or via phone conference. If you prefer a sit-down meeting at our office, we are more than willing to file an extension good until October 15, 2020. We can then accommodate your needs once appropriate to do so.

How to Securely Provide Your Information

  • Email via ShareFile (link to securely upload is within your tax professional’s email signature)
  • Mail via USPS, UPS, FedEx or other
  • Fax to 315.446.6317

Effective immediately, we will be mailing completed returns rather than calling clients for pickup and ask you to use one of our secure file sharing methods above.

Employee and Client Safety

During this time, we are taking measures to ensure the well-being of employees and clients. As our office currently sees a high volume of clients and their associated documents, we feel implementing the actions listed above will help mitigate any risk for transfer of COVID-19.  For the near term, we are encouraging our employees to work as paperless as possible and suspending unnecessary meetings and travel to client locations.

Our Commitment

We are committed to working with clients and their financial advisors to complete any necessary personal, corporate, state and local filings that are due in the near term. We are monitoring guidance provided by federal, state, and local authorities and will update procedures as necessary.

Thank you!
